A popular waterfront hotel north of Brisbane is set for a multimillion-dollar renovation including two new bars and a revamped function centre.

The renovation will include building a new downstairs bar, an upstairs bar, revamping the gaming lounge and function centre and creating an upstairs alfresco dining area to capitalise on the stunning views over the bay.
